Lynk & Co is accelerating its European growth strategy with an official expansion into three new markets: the Czech Republic, Austria, and Switzerland. This move significantly strengthens the mobility brand’s presence in Central Europe, making its lineup of electrified vehicles accessible to a wider consumer base across the continent.
Key Highlights

- Vehicle Lineup: The Lynk & Co 01 (plug-in hybrid), 02 (fully electric), and 08 (plug-in hybrid) will be available.
- Sales Strategy: Vehicles will be sold exclusively through local retail partners, adding over 15 new sales locations.
- Volvo Collaboration: The expansion leverages a strategic collaboration with Volvo Cars for infrastructure, logistics, and operational expertise.
- Launch Timeline: Sales begin in the Czech Republic in October 2025, followed by Austria and Switzerland in the first quarter of 2026.
Leveraging Volvo Collaboration
To ensure a smooth and rapid rollout, Lynk & Co is utilizing its collaboration with Volvo Cars. By building on Volvo’s established market relationships, retail network, and operational proficiency, Lynk & Co benefits from shared infrastructure, including spare parts distribution and joint preparation efforts. This foundation is designed to foster long-term success in these new markets.
Retail Partnership Model
All three vehicle models will be available exclusively through experienced local retail partners. This strategy is expected to accelerate market entry and build immediate trust with consumers. The expansion will add more than 15 new sales points, creating strong local launch platforms and ensuring seamless customer access to the brand’s vehicles and services. Lynk & Co is on track to have 150 partner-operated sales locations across Europe by the end of 2025.
Strategic Market Value
Each new market offers unique strategic advantages. The Czech Republic’s central location and established retail infrastructure provide direct access to a broad customer base. Austria is experiencing rising demand for electrified vehicles, making it a natural fit for Lynk & Co’s offerings. Switzerland’s high purchasing power and favorable tax environment for electric vehicles present ideal conditions for the brand’s models.
Phased Commercial Launch
Consumer-facing commercial activities are scheduled to begin in the Czech Republic in October 2025, where Lynk & Co will establish its own National Sales Company (NSC). In Austria and Switzerland, commercial activities will follow in the first quarter of 2026, marking the official launch in those markets.
Future Outlook
With these launches, Lynk & Co is now present in 25 European markets, reinforcing its ambition to become a truly pan-European brand. This expansion highlights the company’s strategy of combining product innovation with strategic retail partnerships to offer more customers access to modern mobility solutions.
