Mercedes-Benz Trucks is broadening its lineup of battery-electric trucks by introducing new variants based on the eActros 600. These models, which customers can order starting in autumn 2025, are designed to address a variety of needs related to payload and range. This move supports the trucking industry’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
Key Highlights
- New variants built on the eActros 600
- Orders open from autumn 2025
- Includes extra wheelbases, battery options, and cab designs
- Meets diverse payload and range demands
- Supports industry decarbonization goals

The new trucks will carry forward the eActros 600’s advanced features, such as its electric drive axle, lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology, and the Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2. These elements ensure top efficiency and performance, ideal for heavy-duty, long-haul transport.
The expanded lineup includes semitrailer tractors and platform chassis with additional wheelbases, offering flexibility for various tasks. Options with two battery packs allow customers to prioritize either longer range or higher payload. Additionally, alternative long cab designs, based on the trusted Actros model and available in multiple roof shapes, let buyers tailor trucks to their specific needs.
This portfolio growth aligns with Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ strategy to electrify more transport applications. The company aims to provide eco-friendly and cost-effective solutions. Alongside these new variants, production of the first-generation eActros 300/400 will end this year, while the eEconic continues for municipal use.

The eActros 600 has proven its worth through extensive testing, including a 15,000-kilometer trip across 22 countries and a winter tour in Northern Europe. With a battery capacity exceeding 600 kilowatt hours, it offers a 500-kilometer range per charge, extendable to over 1,000 kilometers daily with smart charging breaks. To aid this shift, Mercedes-Benz Trucks plans a network of over 3,000 fast-charging points across Europe by 2030.
In short, these new eActros 600 variants enhance flexibility and efficiency, advancing sustainable trucking.
