Ohme has become the exclusive home EV charging partner for Suzuki Australia, extending a collaboration already in place in the UK and Ireland as Suzuki brings its first electric car, the e VITARA, to the Australian market. Under the arrangement, Suzuki will recommend Ohme chargers to customers who need a home charging solution, and Ohme says it will provide hardware, installation and ongoing support at the point of sale. The company describes itself as the largest home EV charging provider in the UK and Ireland and the fastest growing in Europe.

What Suzuki Australia Customers Get
Ohme positions the deal as a full home charging package for e VITARA buyers, running from the charger itself through installation to ongoing customer support. The company says its charger functionality lets drivers schedule charging for periods when electricity costs are lowest and when renewable generation on the local grid is highest, with the aim of lowering CO2 impact. Solar integration is also included.

Suzuki’s First EV in Australia
The e VITARA marks Suzuki’s entry into electric vehicles in the Australian market. The SUV is available with a choice of 49 kWh or 61 kWh battery packs and either front-wheel drive or the company’s ALLGRIP-e four-wheel-drive system.

The Australian agreement builds on the UK partnership between Suzuki and Ohme announced ahead of the e VITARA’s British launch, and on a series of automaker relationships that includes Ohme’s API integration with Volkswagen Group Info Services across Europe.
Ohme’s Position in Australia
Beyond the Suzuki agreement, Ohme already serves as the official home EV charging partner for SG Fleet, a fleet management and mobility provider, in both Australia and the UK. The company was also recognized among the top five EV chargers in Australia by Solar Choice, an Australian solar energy comparison platform, according to the release.
