GAFFNEY, SC – Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) and Penske Truck Leasing recently marked the delivery of two all-electric walk-in van units, the MT50e, to two customers in California in the healthcare field. The delivery is a significant step for both companies as they aim to reduce their fleet emissions over the coming years.

Michael Stark, EV Program Manager at FCCC, said that the more MT50e units that are delivered to customers, the more positive feedback they receive about the product’s performance in meeting the demands of fleets. The MT50e offers a range of features and benefits, making it an attractive option for fleet additions.

Penske Truck Leasing has been at the forefront of adopting battery-electric commercial vehicles and has invested in testing, maintenance, and charging infrastructure to support these vehicles.
