A New Destination in Brickell

Rivian’s latest retail space offers the community a new place to experience the brand. The 4,000-square-foot location in Mary Brickell Village is designed to be a warm and inviting environment where visitors can explore the company’s electric vehicles and connect with the local Rivian team.

The design of the space tells the Rivian story through its thoughtful details. It incorporates natural materials alongside art and furnishings in green and blue tones, a direct nod to Miami’s unique coastal and urban landscape. Celebrating Miami Design

To commemorate the grand opening, the space is showcasing an exclusive, custom-designed Rivian Tri-Motor R1S. This special vehicle pays tribute to Miami’s iconic design heritage and its significant impact on pop culture.

Inspired by the city’s flair and energy, the R1S features a vibrant aesthetic that calls back to the 1980s. The dynamic teal and pink color palette is a direct reference to the era’s pop culture. The vehicle also includes unique design elements that nod to Miami’s Art Deco legacy, such as a blue side stripe body detail and pink tow hooks and headrest inserts. This custom vehicle captures a spirit of creativity and nostalgia that feels both fresh and uniquely Rivian.

A Spirit of Joyful Exploration

The brand’s design team has previously drawn inspiration from 1980s pop culture. For Halloween last year, Rivian introduced Car Costumes inspired by classic vehicles from the hit properties Knight Rider and Back to the Future, demonstrating a continued spirit of exploration and joy.

This approach is part of Rivian’s DNA, whether experimenting with color, taking cues from the natural world, or designing spaces that connect people with vehicles in an effortless way. The new Brickell opening is just the beginning of the company’s engagement with the city. It also hints at how Rivian will continue to push design and celebrate creativity during its planned return to Miami for an activation during Art Basel this December.
