RIZON is broadening its North American presence with new deliveries of its all-electric trucks to a diverse range of public and commercial fleets in California. From city services to the entertainment and fabrication industries, organizations are adopting RIZON’s zero-emission vehicles to enhance performance while meeting sustainability goals. This expansion highlights a growing confidence in the reliability and environmental advantages of electric commercial vehicles.

Key Highlights

  • RIZON is delivering all-electric trucks to new public and private fleets in California and Canada.
  • New customers include entertainment rental companies, fabricators, utilities, and school districts.
  • The Class 4-5 trucks are designed for urban routes, offering up to 160 miles of range and versatile upfitting options.
  • Vehicles feature advanced safety systems and flexible Level 2 AC and DC Fast Charging capabilities.

New Commercial and Public Fleet Deployments

Several California businesses have integrated RIZON trucks into their daily operations. Treefort Entertainment, which rents specialty equipment to the film and television industry, now uses a RIZON e18L box truck for deliveries across Los Angeles. Similarly, LA Percussion has added an e18L to provide quieter, emission-free instrument transportation, and South Bay Fabrication uses its electric truck to support its precision sheet metal operations.

The public sector is also embracing electrification. A Central Valley municipality deployed a RIZON truck with a dump-body for wellness services, while a Sacramento-area utility adopted a box-body model to help meet its 2030 carbon neutrality goal. Additionally, a Southern California school district added two refrigerated RIZON trucks to its fleet.

Advanced Features and Capabilities

RIZON’s Class 4-5 trucks are engineered for the demands of urban and last-mile delivery, with a range of up to 160 miles on a single charge. The vehicles are highly versatile and can be upfitted for numerous applications, including as dry vans, flatbeds, reefers, and landscape dumps. A key feature is the electric power take-off (ePTO), which allows for the use of specialized equipment like hydraulic pumps and reefer belt drives.

To ensure operator and public safety, the trucks are equipped with advanced systems like Active Brake Assist and Active Side Guard Assist, which are especially useful in congested urban areas. For charging flexibility, RIZON trucks support both Level 2 AC (J1772) and DC Fast Charging (CCS1) systems.

North American Growth

The recent deliveries in California follow RIZON’s successful entry into the Canadian market in 2024. The company has established a sales network across three provinces, and its trucks are now in operation for businesses and municipalities in British Columbia and Ontario.
