Savvy and EV Bee Partner on Off-Grid EV Charging Network

Savvy Charging Technologies and EV Bee have partnered to expand off-grid and vehicle-to-vehicle EV charging across the Middle East and Turkey, targeting an estimated $185 million market opportunity in mobile infrastructure.

Savvy Charging Technologies and EV Bee have formed a strategic partnership the companies say targets an estimated $185 million market opportunity in mobile and off-grid electric vehicle charging across the Middle East, Turkey, and surrounding markets. The agreement pairs Abu Dhabi–based Savvy Charging Technologies, a UAE off-grid and mobile charging provider, with Istanbul-based EV Bee, a Turkish developer of vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging technology. The companies frame the deal as a step toward expanding charging access in regions where fixed infrastructure remains thin.

Highlights

  • The partnership targets an estimated $185 million market opportunity in the mobile charging and off-grid infrastructure sector.
  • Savvy contributes its off-grid charging ecosystem; EV Bee contributes vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging technology.
  • Initial focus areas span the Middle East, Turkey, and adjacent markets.
  • Named beneficiaries include recovery and towing operators, roadside assistance providers, and vehicle insurance companies.

What the Companies Plan to Build

Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate on technology development, shared access to EV charging data, and expansion into new markets. The stated focus areas include deploying charging technologies, integrating charging intelligence platforms, and extending mobile charging capabilities for emergency charging, roadside assistance, and commercial fleet operations.

Savvy describes the EV Bee deal as building on an earlier agreement with Pioneer Energy Eboost. Muhammad Jamal, CEO of Savvy Charging Technologies, said the arrangement strengthens the company’s position in off-grid charging. “This partnership introduces both companies into what is now becoming the largest off-grid charging network in the world. Following our agreement with Pioneer Energy Eboost, this partnership with EV Bee further strengthens our position as a global leader in off-grid EV charging. Together, we will share technology, EV adoption insights, charging statistics, and various developments shaping the future of the e-mobility space.”

Why V2V and Off-Grid Charging Matter in the Region

EV Bee’s contribution centers on vehicle-to-vehicle charging, which transfers energy directly between vehicles rather than from fixed grid-connected stations. The companies position this approach as suited to markets where conventional charging infrastructure is limited. Mobile and off-grid models have drawn attention elsewhere for similar reasons, as seen in earlier coverage of on-demand off-grid charging services and grid-free mobile charging systems for fleets and travelers.

Ozan, Founder of EV Bee, tied the regional opportunity to consumer confidence in EV ownership. “This partnership is natural, and honestly, it was bound to happen. The Middle East and Turkey represent tremendous potential for off-grid charging infrastructure. With our state-of-the-art V2V technology, this collaboration will create a giant leap in consumer confidence and accelerate EV adoption throughout the region.”

The companies also identified recovery and towing operators, roadside assistance providers, and vehicle insurance companies as potential users of next-generation EV support services built on the partnership.
