Škoda Auto is rolling out model year updates for the Elroq and Enyaq electric SUVs, with UK availability scheduled for the end of June. The update package introduces Vehicle-to-Load capability, a new Android-based infotainment system, enhanced driver assistance features and a front trunk for both models. The Elroq and Enyaq ranked second and seventh, respectively, among Europe’s best-selling EVs in 2025.
Highlights
- Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) arrives for both models, enabling external device charging via charging-port adapter or a 230 V luggage-compartment socket.
- Travel Assist 3.0 adds traffic light and stop sign recognition, automatic emergency lane changes and upgraded radar sensors.
- Android-based infotainment brings a redesigned interface, in-car app store with Spotify and YouTube and integrated Powerpass charging navigation.
- 21-liter front trunk (frunk) with gas struts added to both Elroq and Enyaq for the first time.

New Infotainment and Digital Key
The updated Elroq and Enyaq feature a modernized Android-based infotainment system with a redesigned home screen, grid layout, favorites and an integrated search function. A new in-car app store makes third-party applications such as Spotify and YouTube available directly on the central display, alongside Škoda’s own apps.
Both models also gain a digital key for the first time. Once paired through the MyŠkoda app, drivers can lock, unlock and start the vehicle with a smartphone. Access can be shared with family members through the phone’s built-in wallet app. Availability depends on active Škoda Connect services.

Powerpass Integration and Charging Updates
Škoda’s Powerpass charging service is now embedded directly in the navigation system, displaying station ratings, pricing and enabling charging authorization from the nav screen. Filters include 20 selected providers, charging power and availability. Users can also create preferred and blocked lists of charging point operators. The service currently covers one million public charging points across 28 European countries.
Plug&Charge functionality has been expanded to support compatible home wallboxes, and the MyŠkoda app now provides detailed driving data including energy consumption alongside charging history.
V2L and One-Pedal Driving
Vehicle-to-Load enables both models to power external devices through a charging-port adapter or a 230 V socket in the luggage compartment. Intended use cases include camping equipment, power tools and e-bike charging.
Enhanced one-pedal driving now offers two recuperation levels in B mode, allowing deceleration to a complete standstill when the accelerator is released. Levels can be adjusted through the infotainment system or steering wheel paddles.
Simply Clever Updates
A 21-liter frunk with gas struts is new for both the Elroq and Enyaq. Wireless phone charging gains Qi2 Magnetic Power Profile support at up to 25 W, compatible with iPhone 12 and newer. USB-C ports continue to deliver up to 45 W at both front and rear positions. A new in-car Tips app helps drivers discover unused vehicle features through guided notifications and short videos.

Travel Assist 3.0 and Safety Upgrades
Travel Assist 3.0 introduces new radars and sensors alongside expanded online services. The system delivers more precise lane guidance, smoother speed control and a new ability to stop at traffic lights and stop signs, extending assisted driving support into urban areas. Assisted Lane Change has been refined, and Emergency Assist can now maneuver to the hard shoulder on motorways if the driver is unresponsive.
New corner radars in the front and rear bumpers improve Crossroad Assist at complex junctions, detecting vehicles, motorcycles, cyclists and e-scooters approaching from the side. An interior camera in the rearview mirror housing enables eye-tracking-based attention and fatigue monitoring. Exterior lighting management adds an intermediate level for low-light daytime conditions such as heavy clouds, dawn or dusk.
Sales Momentum
The Elroq exceeded expectations in its first full year on the market, with more than 112,000 units produced and over 150,000 orders recorded. The Elroq 85 accounted for more than half of orders. In January 2026, the Elroq became Europe’s best-selling electric model, surpassing 8,000 units sold. It also topped Germany’s EV sales charts in both January and February 2026.
The Enyaq secured seventh place among Europe’s best-selling EVs in 2025, with over 79,600 deliveries. Since production began in 2020, the Enyaq family has surpassed 300,000 cumulative deliveries. Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom represent the model’s largest markets. Both the Elroq and Enyaq were consistently in the UK’s top 10 BEV sales charts throughout 2025, with the Enyaq family recording 11,941 deliveries and the Elroq tallying 10,713.
