Škoda Auto has commenced production of its new all-electric Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé at the Mladá Boleslav plant in the Czech Republic. These models are part of Škoda’s commitment to electric mobility and are produced on a flexible line alongside the Elroq and Octavia, showcasing the brand’s adaptability to market demands.

The new Enyaq family features the Modern Solid design language, improved aerodynamics for extended range, and a host of standard equipment and digital features. Building on the success of its predecessor, which sold over 250,000 units and topped sales charts in several European markets, the new Enyaq is set to continue Škoda’s electric journey.

In addition to assembling the vehicles, the plant also produces battery systems for the MEB-based models, which are utilized not only in Škoda’s electric vehicles but also in those of other Volkswagen Group brands. This underscores the strategic importance of the Mladá Boleslav site within the group.

The new Enyaq is available with two battery sizes and three powertrain options, offering outputs ranging from 204PS to 286PS. Customers can choose between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, depending on their preferences. Adopting the Modern Solid design language, the new Enyaq features a robust and functional aesthetic. Inside, customers can select from six Design Selections, emphasizing sustainable and durable materials, aligning with Škoda’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
