TurnOnGreen Advances EV Infrastructure with New Installations at 18 Hotels across North America

What’s Happening

TurnOnGreen has successfully completed the setup of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at 18 hotels throughout North America. These locations include renowned establishments such as the Best Western Chateau Granville in Vancouver, Canada and the Ravel Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham in New York, NY. Each location now features multiple high-power, networked EVP700G Level 2 EV chargers which are compatible with the TurnOnGreen App, RFID cards, and unique QR codes on each charger.

Why It Matters

The expansion of TurnOnGreen’s EV charging network is a significant move in accommodating the growing market of electric vehicles. The company’s president, Marcus Charuvastra, emphasized the increasing demand for EV charging at hotels, stating it’s rapidly becoming a crucial amenity for hoteliers. He highlighted the necessity of meeting each hotel’s unique needs to ensure efficient and cost-effective installations.

Key Points

TurnOnGreen provides scalable EV charging solutions across homes, businesses, and fleets in North America. Its offerings comprise electric vehicle charging hardware, management software, and network services that allow municipalities, businesses, and homeowners to monetize, track, and report EV charger usage. The company’s charging systems are Energy Star Certified and backed by an internationally recognized certificate of safety and performance.

Bottom Line

The surge in EV sales, particularly in California where 42% of the nation’s EVs were sold, as reported by the California Energy Commission and the California Air Resources Board, underscores the necessity for robust charging infrastructure. With projections from PwC predicting the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment market to reach a value of $100 billion by 2040, supporting an estimated 27 million EVs on the road by 2030, the timely expansion of TurnOnGreen’s charging network indicates strategic growth and commitment to meeting a rising market demand.
