Caverion Taps GreenFlux to Run Its EV Charging Network

Caverion will run its European EV charging network on GreenFlux's charge point management platform, adding access to a 1.2-million-point roaming network across Northern, Central and Eastern Europe.

Caverion has partnered with GreenFlux to run its expanding European charge point network on GreenFlux’s charge point management system (CPMS), giving Caverion access to a roaming network of more than 1.2 million charge points across the continent. The collaboration covers Northern, Central and Eastern Europe, where Caverion provides installation, maintenance and remote monitoring for charge point operators, automakers, dealerships and real estate owners. Caverion said the partnership will let it offer customers real-time data and centralized maintenance scheduling as its charging footprint grows.

Migration Already Underway

GreenFlux’s migrations team has started the collaboration by moving Caverion’s existing AC and HPC charge points onto the GreenFlux backend. GreenFlux, part of the DKV Mobility Group, positions itself as a cloud-based, hardware-agnostic platform that lets charge point operators manage operations at scale.

Caverion will fold GreenFlux’s software into its CPO as a Service offering, which covers installation, maintenance and remote monitoring for the operators, automakers and property owners it serves. According to GreenFlux, the platform provides real-time charge point monitoring, smart-charging algorithms, flexible API integrations and managed roaming.

What Caverion Gains From the Roaming Network

The partnership extends GreenFlux’s roaming network, which the company reports has passed 1.2 million charge points across Europe, to Caverion’s customer base. Caverion said the arrangement is intended to reduce range anxiety for fleet and business drivers by letting them charge across borders on a shared network rather than juggling multiple operator apps.

“By combining our scalable software platform with Caverion’s deep technical knowledge and local presence, we are making it easier for businesses to transition to electric mobility,” said Freerik Meeuwes, Director Sales and Operations at GreenFlux.

Ove Kjelby, Head of Sales, E-mobility International at Caverion Norway, said the GreenFlux platform “provides us with the flexibility and control needed to meet the diverse needs of our customers, from office complexes to industrial sites,” adding that the deal “strengthens our position as a leading provider of end-to-end e-mobility solutions.”

Caverion is part of Assemblin Caverion Group, a northern European technical-services provider with roughly 20,000 employees across nine countries; the group reported SEK 41 billion (EUR 3.7 billion, or roughly USD 4.2 billion) in revenue over the trailing twelve months. The group’s Nordic charging work has previously included an expanded fast-charging partnership with ADS-TEC Energy across Norway, Denmark and Sweden.

GreenFlux, founded in 2011 and now part of DKV Mobility Group, counts ENGIE Vianeo, Interparking, TotalEnergies, Aldi Nord, Gridserve, Eneco, Q-Park, EDP and APCOA Parking among its clients. The company’s platform has also recently powered a charge point migration for hotel operator Pair in a similar CPMS deployment.
