Volkswagen of America has partnered with Electrify America to offer an enhanced charging experience for the 2025 ID. Buzz. The charging plan includes three years of Electrify America’s Pass+ membership, providing preferential rates and 500 kWh of complimentary charging. The ID. Buzz also features Plug&Charge functionality for seamless use at Electrify America stations.

Volkswagen’s collaboration with Electrify America ensures that ID. Buzz drivers will benefit from the largest open DC fast-charging network in the U.S., enhancing convenience for road trips and daily commutes. With Pass+ membership, customers can save approximately 25 percent compared to standard rates, making electric driving more affordable.
The Plug&Charge feature allows ID. Buzz drivers to activate charging by simply plugging in the vehicle—no need for additional payment steps. This streamlined approach is designed to make the electric vehicle experience as smooth as possible for new adopters and seasoned EV drivers alike.
Volkswagen’s Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, Andrew Savvas, emphasized the convenience of the offer, stating, “With three years of Pass+ membership access to the largest open DC fast-charging network in the U.S., families can explore and experience all that electric mobility has to offer.”
The partnership between Volkswagen and Electrify America reflects a joint commitment to zero-direct emission driving and enhancing the practicality of electric vehicles.
