Partnership History
The relationship between Workhorse and Purolator predates the current order. Purolator previously purchased vehicles from Motiv Electric Trucks, which merged with Workhorse in late 2025. This latest deal represents Purolator’s fourth order over several years.
“Purolator has a longstanding commitment to adopting new and innovative technologies to make their fleet more efficient and sustainable, and we are honored to continue to support them,” said Scott Griffith, Chief Executive Officer at Workhorse. “This is Purolator’s fourth order over a number of years and an important next step in our longstanding partnership.”
Fleet Scale and Production Capacity
Workhorse has manufactured and delivered more than 1,100 vehicles to date. Its product lineup includes electric step vans, box trucks, and shuttles. Those vehicles have collectively driven more than 20 million miles.
The company operates a manufacturing facility in Union City, Indiana. That plant can produce up to 5,000 vehicles per year on a single operating shift. Workhorse also sells through a national dealer network and provides post-sale support through regionally deployed technicians.
Growing Customer Base
Ten of the largest medium-duty truck fleets in North America now operate Workhorse vehicles. Notable customers include Purolator, Vestis (formerly Aramark Uniform Services), and Cintas, among others.
