The XOS 5.8.0 update introduces the innovative Human-Machine Co-Driving feature, making XPENG the first automaker in Europe to offer this as standard. When Lane Centering Control (LCC) is active, the system collaborates with the driver, maintaining assistance even during manual steering. This results in smoother highway merges and exits with reduced steering oscillation. Additionally, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) now supports higher cornering speeds and more comfortable deceleration, enhancing safety and ease in complex driving scenarios.
Pet Mode for Animal Lovers
For pet owners, the new Pet Mode ensures safety and comfort when pets are briefly left in the vehicle. The system automatically locks doors, closes windows, and maintains a comfortable cabin temperature through AUTO Climate Control with external air circulation. Owners receive real-time alerts via the XPENG app and can remotely manage the feature, offering peace of mind for pet-loving families.
Entertainment with KaraFun
The update introduces KaraFun, a hands-free in-car karaoke feature accessible via the in-car App Store. This addition enhances the in-cabin entertainment experience, allowing users to enjoy music and singing effortlessly while on the go.
Tailored Comfort and Safety
XPENG’s user-centric approach shines in the XOS 5.8.0 update, with features designed for global markets. Responding to feedback from tropical regions, the air conditioning minimum temperature is now lowered to 16°C, ensuring greater comfort. The Dashcam function expands to more European countries, now including Emergency Recording for added security. The XCOMBO system, supporting 21 languages and over 700 atomic capabilities, allows users to create personalized scenarios via the in-car display or mobile app, offering modes for entertainment, safety, comfort, and energy efficiency.
