Zeekr has introduced its new 5.5C ultra-fast charging batteries, setting a global benchmark for electric vehicles (EVs). The innovative lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries allow Zeekr vehicles to charge from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes. The 2025 Zeekr 007 sedan will be the first model equipped with these groundbreaking batteries, with deliveries starting next week. Additionally, Zeekr’s urban Navigation Zeekr Pilot (NZP) assist driving functions will begin delivery at the end of August.
Key Highlights:
- 5.5C ultra-fast charging: Enables charging from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes.
- Enhanced Battery Management System (BMS): Ensures stable charging even in temperatures as low as -10°C, charging from 10% to 80% within 30 minutes.
- Expanding Charging Network: Zeekr aims to operate 1,000 ultra-fast charging stations by 2024 and over 10,000 charging piles by 2026.
- Zeekr 007 Sedan: First model to feature the new batteries, with deliveries beginning next week.
- Urban NZP Assist Driving Functions: Delivery starts in September 2024, featuring integration with Zeekr’s Kr AI model, Eva.
