Zerova has formed a service and maintenance partnership with Swedish installation firm Comfort. The agreement designates Comfort as the primary local after-sales provider for Zerova’s electric vehicle charging hardware across Sweden. Additionally, the collaboration aims to improve technical response times and support operational continuity for the regional charging infrastructure.
Highlights
- Comfort will manage after-sales service and maintenance for Zerova’s EV charging solutions in Sweden.
- The partnership leverages Comfort’s established national network of over 2,500 technical employees.
- Zerova’s hardware portfolio includes DC fast chargers ranging from 30kW to megawatt-class systems.
- Local service operations under the new agreement are already active.
Industry Context: Prioritizing Charger Uptime
As electric vehicle adoption expands, charging network operators face increasing scrutiny regarding hardware reliability and station uptime. Consequently, manufacturers are prioritizing localized maintenance partnerships to minimize downtime. Having technicians nearby allows operators to quickly address mechanical failures, software faults, or wear-and-tear issues. Therefore, establishing a regional service footprint is a critical strategy for maintaining consumer confidence in public charging networks.
Localized Service Execution
Under the new agreement, Comfort will utilize its existing national infrastructure to handle on-site service requirements for Zerova installations. The Swedish company currently provides end-to-end support across electrical, heating, and ventilation systems. Specifically, Comfort will apply this technical background to ensure structured, rapid maintenance for local EV charging sites.
Brian Huang, Business Operations Director at Zerova, stated that a local service partner is essential for operational continuity. “Comfort’s presence and capabilities in Sweden help us deliver faster response times and reliable long-term performance for customers,” Huang said.
Scaling Hardware Support
Zerova manufactures customized EV charging systems for diverse sectors, including commercial fleets, mining operations, and retail locations. The company produces a wide spectrum of equipment, ranging from standard 30kW DC chargers to advanced megawatt solutions. Maintaining these high-voltage systems requires specialized, certified technicians to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Mattias Lindgren, Head of National Business at Comfort, noted that service quality remains critical as the charging market grows. He added that the organization is prepared to support Swedish customers with structured maintenance protocols and dedicated on-site expertise.
