This first-ever win for the EV9 in this category underscores the vehicle’s exceptional value proposition within a competitive, high-end market. The Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America™ awards are determined through a detailed cost of ownership analysis that evaluates over 2,000 vehicle configurations based on typical fleet usage. The rigorous evaluation process examines eight critical cost factors: depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel/charging, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs.

According to Vincentric President David Wurster, “The Kia EV9 had a best-in-class performance for 2025 that allowed it to outperform 125 competitor trims.” The winning Light SR RWD trim distinguished itself by having the lowest ownership costs in eleven of the twenty-eight measured scenarios. Furthermore, it recorded the lowest overall repair costs of any vehicle within the Luxury Mid-Size SUV segment, cementing its status as a financially sound choice for fleet operators.

The 2025 Kia EV9 Light SR RWD serves as the foundation of the EV9 lineup. It offers a long wheelbase and flexible seating for up to seven passengers, making it suitable for a wide array of applications. Beyond its spacious interior, the EV9 is engineered for the future of electric mobility. Its standard 800V architecture is a standout feature, permitting DC fast charging that can replenish the battery from a 10% to an 80% state of charge in under 25 minutes.

This efficiency is complemented by expansive charging accessibility. With North American Charging System (NACS) compatibility, EV9 owners have access to a network of more than 21,500 DC fast chargers. The vehicle also comes with a notable array of standard Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, enhancing safety and driver confidence.
