Boasting 38 miles of all-electric range and 420 miles of combined range, it remains the world’s best-selling all-wheel drive plug-in hybrid SUV. The vehicle retains its signature Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) system and seating for seven, blending eco-friendly performance with practicality.

Key Highlights

  • Affordable Pricing: Starts at $40,445 for ES, $43,095 for SE, and $46,395 for SEL, with premium options up to $50,445.
  • Enhanced Features: All trims now include heated front seats, while SEL adds luxury touches like leather seats and a panoramic sunroof.

Mitsubishi Motors continues to refine its flagship Outlander Plug-in Hybrid for 2025, maintaining its appeal with a modest $600 price increase over the previous model. The vehicle’s 38-mile electric range suits short trips, while its 420-mile total range ensures confidence on longer journeys. Standard across all trims, the S-AWC all-wheel drive system enhances handling, complemented by a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) like Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

The lineup offers three trims with tailored upgrades. The SE trim, at $43,095, introduces 20-inch alloy wheels, Adaptive Cruise Control, and a 9-inch navigation display. The SEL trim, starting at $46,395, elevates comfort with heated rear seats and 3-zone climate control. Top-tier variants like the Platinum Edition reach $50,445, blending near-luxury features with Mitsubishi’s renowned durability, backed by a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty.

“The rest of the world seems to have realized what Mitsubishi Motors figured out years ago: plug-in hybrids are the ideal solution for drivers looking for quiet, clean eco-friendly motoring without concerns about range and charging on longer trips,” said Mark Chaffin, CEO of Mitsubishi Motors North America. This vision aligns with MMNA’s “Momentum 2030” plan, promising a refreshed lineup and expanded U.S. presence by 2030. For the latest details, visit MitsubishiCars.com.
