KAIYI Auto has launched the X7 Hybrid in Argentina, a seven-seat SUV the company reports delivers a combined range of more than 745 miles (1,200 km) on a full charge and full tank. The Chinese automaker introduced the model in Buenos Aires earlier this month, its latest market entry in an export run that already spans Uzbekistan, Egypt, and Bolivia. KAIYI presents the X7 Hybrid as a seven-seat hybrid SUV built around three areas: exterior design, interior packaging, and powertrain performance.
Highlights
- KAIYI reports a combined range of more than 745 miles (1,200 km) from a full charge and full tank.
- The company lists 0 to 62 mph (0–100 km/h) acceleration in 7.9 seconds.
- A 5+2 layout seats seven occupants.
- A built-in vehicle-to-load (V2L) function lets the SUV act as an external power source.
A Hybrid Powertrain Pitched on Range
The X7 Hybrid pairs a combustion engine with electric drive, and KAIYI reports a combined range of more than 745 miles (1,200 km) when both the battery and fuel tank are full. The company puts acceleration from 0 to 62 mph (0–100 km/h) at 7.9 seconds.
A built-in vehicle-to-load (V2L) function lets the vehicle supply power to external devices, which the company positions for outdoor use and emergencies.
Seven Seats for Family Travel
Inside, the X7 Hybrid uses a 5+2 layout that seats seven, which KAIYI aims at family travel and longer trips. The cabin includes a driver display, an infotainment system, and a suite of safety features. On the outside, the SUV carries an illuminated grille and an exterior lighting system.
Another Market in KAIYI’s Export Push
Argentina joins the overseas markets the X7 Hybrid has entered, alongside Uzbekistan, Egypt, and Bolivia. The launch adds to KAIYI Auto’s growing new-energy lineup. The company said it will invest in a local aftersales network and work with Argentine partners to expand distribution and ownership support.
