Enhanced Charging Network Integration

The 2026 Lexus RZ now supports access to more than 25,000 new charging plugs across North America through the Tesla Supercharger Network. RZ drivers can also continue to use IONNA, ChargePoint, and EVgo networks, with all compatible stations visible through the Lexus app.

The 2026 model year introduces Plug & Charge functionality, allowing drivers to begin charging by simply plugging in — with initial activation handled through the app. The Tesla Supercharger Network will be the first Plug & Charge-enabled partner for Lexus BEVs, with broader compatibility expected soon.

Complimentary Adapters for Existing Owners

To support earlier adopters, Lexus is providing complimentary NACS adapters for 2023–2025 RZ owners. Eligible customers will receive direct communication from Lexus with instructions to obtain their adapter from local dealerships. All adapters meet Lexus’ quality and warranty standards, ensuring reliable performance at SAE J3400 charging points.

Intelligent EV Routing via Apple Maps

All 2023 and newer RZ models now feature Apple Maps EV Routing when connected through Apple CarPlay. This capability integrates real-time vehicle data, such as battery level and elevation, to automatically route drivers to compatible chargers en route to their destinations — enhancing convenience and confidence on longer journeys.

“From access to new charging hardware to software-enabled upgrades available for all Lexus BEV drivers, we’re excited to be able to surprise and delight our guests throughout their Lexus ownership experiences,” said Shawn Domeracki, Vice President of Lexus Sales and Dealer Development.
