What’s New for 2027
The 2027 updates concentrate on interior trim and color. Black StarTex water-resistant upholstery is now standard on Premium models. Interior availability is also tied to exterior color: Elemental Red Pearl models come exclusively with Gray StarTex upholstery, while Midnight Tide Mica models come exclusively with Black StarTex. At the top of the range, the Touring XT adopts black-and-blue leather-trimmed upholstery as standard.

Powertrain, Range, and Charging
The Limited XT and Touring XT use a dual-motor setup that Subaru rates at 338 horsepower and a 0–60 mph time of under 5 seconds, while the Premium and Limited produce 233 horsepower. Every trim runs the 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery, which Subaru estimates delivers up to 288 miles of range, details established with the 2026 redesign. The company reports fast-charging speeds of up to 150 kW, supported by battery preconditioning, with a 10% to 80% charge in about 28 minutes and an 11 kW onboard charger for home charging.
A North American Charging Standard (NACS) port is standard, which Subaru says opens access to more than 25,000 charging stations across North America, including Tesla’s Supercharger network. Standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and 8.3 inches of ground clearance carry across the lineup, paired with X-MODE traction modes.
