The event featured the world premiere of the all-new Middle East variants of the AITO 9, AITO 7, and AITO 5. A ‘Glocal’ Strategy for the Intelligent Era

AITO is positioning itself as a glocal brand, merging global vision with local adaptation. Leon He, President of SERES AUTO, stated, “AITO is committed to becoming a glocal brand. Today, at IAA MOBILITY 2025, AITO is unveiling our truly globalized product lineup and setting a new strategic milestone in our globalization journey.” This journey is supported by the company’s cutting-edge technology and its proven success in the competitive Chinese market. The brand’s long-term globalization strategy is centered on the high-end new energy vehicle segment, covering both pure electric and range-extender technology paths to meet diverse consumer needs.

Proven Success and Global Expansion

The brand’s success in China provides a strong foundation for its global ambitions. Since its launch, AITO’s four models have achieved cumulative sales of over 770,000 units as of the end of August. The flagship all-scenario intelligent SUV, the AITO 9, has been particularly successful, selling more than 230,000 units since its launch in late 2023. It has also been the sales champion in China’s ¥500,000-level luxury car segment for 17 consecutive months.

The new global AITO models will first become available in the Middle East, with a range of vehicle variants designed specifically for discerning local customers.

Tailored for the Middle East Market

The Middle East variants of AITO’s vehicles have been meticulously adapted for the region. These models will feature a smart cockpit with trilingual interaction (Chinese, English, Arabic) and integration into the local digital ecosystem. The hardware performance has been fully enhanced to suit the unique natural environment of the Middle East. To ensure durability and reliability, the vehicles have undergone rigorous testing in extreme conditions like deserts, confirming their full compliance with local driving conditions. All three new models have successfully obtained UAE market entry certification and are scheduled to be released soon.

Advanced Technology and Localized Support

AITO is also in the process of completing validation tests of its overseas intelligent driving assistance features. The brand aims to provide a secure and excellent intelligent mobility experience for users in the Middle East, building on the technology’s widespread recognition in China. By the end of August 2025, AITO users’ total intelligent assisted driving distance exceeded 3.45 billion km, serving 621,000 users in China.

As part of its global blueprint, AITO will establish a UAE subsidiary to launch its full model lineup. This initiative will be supported by a tailored local service ecosystem, a Dubai-based central warehouse, and a localized supply chain to enable rapid delivery and instant after-sales parts support.

Cutting-Edge Core Technologies

Alongside its global models, AITO is showcasing its core technologies at IAA MOBILITY 2025. The SERES 5th-Gen Super Range-Extender System is making its overseas debut. Based on the ‘Saiyi C2E Range-Extender Integration Design’ and ‘RoboREX Intelligent Control Technology’, this system provides high power and efficiency in a quiet, lightweight design. Additionally, the AITO MF Platform is the first in the industry to be compatible with three new energy power modes: super range-extended electric, battery electric, and ultra hybrid.
