Andersen, a premium UK-based brand for design-led electric vehicle (EV) charge points, has announced a new integration with Octopus Energy’s smart EV tariff, Intelligent Octopus Go. This partnership provides Andersen customers with access to smart charging capabilities and significantly lower electricity rates, enhancing the cost-effectiveness of EV ownership.

Smart Charging and Customer Savings
The integration allows Andersen charge points to automatically schedule charging sessions during off-peak hours when energy is at its lowest price and greenest. With access to rates as low as £0.07/kWh, EV drivers can realize substantial savings. For an EV user who drives 10,000 miles per year, switching from a standard tariff to Intelligent Octopus Go could result in savings of up to £585 annually.
To celebrate the new partnership, Andersen is providing a special launch promotion. Eligible customers who purchase a new Andersen EV charge point directly from the company will receive a credit of £106.05, equivalent to the cost of 5,000 miles of electric vehicle charging, when they connect to the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff. Compatible Andersen Products
The Intelligent Octopus Go integration is available for both new and many existing Andersen customers. The compatibility extends across Andersen’s customizable, premium product range, which is designed, engineered, and hand-built in Bedfordshire.
The compatible models include:
- All Andersen Quartz models (socketed or tethered)
- All Andersen A3 models
- All single-phase Andersen A2 models sold since August 2023
This lineup features the award-winning A2 and A3 units, which are known for their unique hidden tethered charging cable design. Also included is the new Andersen Quartz Vision, which has a digital display for at-a-glance charging information. Each Andersen product offers hundreds of color and finish combinations, allowing customers to perfectly match their charger to their home’s aesthetic.
All Andersen products are supported by a market-leading seven-year warranty and the company’s Concierge Service for dedicated customer support. Shipping typically takes one to two days, with installation completed within two to three weeks.
