Audi has unveiled two new plug-in hybrid models in its A6 lineup: the A6 Avant e-hybrid quattro and the A6 Sedan e-hybrid quattro. These vehicles combine efficiency with performance, offering electric driving capabilities alongside traditional combustion engine power. Available in Sedan and Avant styles, they feature a striking design with a long wheelbase, elongated hood, and wide track.

Key Highlights:

  • Power Options: 220 kW and 270 kW variants
  • Electric Range: Over 100 kilometers
  • Battery Size: 25.9 kWh capacity
  • Standard Feature: All-wheel steering
  • Top Model Extras: Sports suspension, S line equipment
  • Comfort Upgrade: Enhanced acoustics
  • Starting Price: $71,500 (€65,800)

Both models are powered by a 2.0 TFSI engine producing 252 horsepower, paired with an electric motor. The 220 kW version delivers 450 Nm of torque and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 6.0 seconds, while the 270 kW version offers 500 Nm and reaches the same speed in 5.3 seconds. The high-voltage battery, now at 25.9 kWh, provides a 45% capacity increase over its predecessor, enabling over 100 kilometers of electric-only driving. Charging takes just 2.5 hours at 11 kW.

The hybrid system features two modes: “EV” for electric-only operation and “hybrid” for optimized efficiency, adjusting automatically based on driving conditions. An improved recuperation system allows energy recovery adjustments via steering-wheel paddles. All models include all-wheel steering, boosting agility and stability, while the 270 kW variants add sporty touches like 19-inch wheels and red brake calipers.
