Autel Energy has opened a North American Experience Center in Fremont, California, where it will host its 2026 North American Partner Summit on September 23–24. The EV charging hardware maker marked the opening of the Fremont Experience Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week and describes the facility as part of its continued investment in the North American charging market. The company also announced a partnership with Modal, a provider of modular, fully managed amenity pods built for EV charging sites.

Ribbon-Cutting Draws State Officials and Industry Groups
The ribbon-cutting brought together leaders from government, transportation, and the EV industry. Invited guests included California Assemblymember Alex Lee, California Energy Commissioner Nancy Skinner, Wendy Wilson of Catalyst Mobility, and Mike Murphy of EVs for All America, alongside remarks from Autel Energy leadership.
Commercial vehicles from Isuzu, Harbinger, and Blue Bird are also on display. According to the company, the lineup reflects the widening range of vehicles and applications that charging infrastructure now supports.

Modal Partnership Brings Amenity Pods to Charging Sites
Modal supplies modular, fully managed amenity pods designed specifically for EV charging sites. Autel Energy frames the arrangement as an “amenity-as-a-service” offering. It gives the company’s customers and partners a way to build charging destinations that pair high-power charging with amenities designed around the driver experience.
Autel Energy Partner Summit Agenda
Following the ribbon-cutting and media day, Autel Energy will host its annual North American Partner Summit at the Fremont facility on September 23 and 24. The two-day program gathers the company’s hardware, software, service, distribution, and deployment partners for technical sessions, product demonstrations, and discussions on the next phase of EV infrastructure development.

- Service and support
- Buy America and BABA requirements

Live demonstrations will show Autel Energy charging systems operating with commercial electric vehicles. The demos cover applications ranging from workplace and multifamily charging to fleet depots and high-power public charging.
“The Partner Summit is important because no single company builds the charging ecosystem by itself,” said Luo. “Hardware, software, vehicles, service, distribution, site development and operations all have to work together. Our strategy is to remain open and partner-friendly so our customers can assemble the solutions that make the most sense for their projects.”
