Through the EVDANCE app, drivers can adjust charging current and schedule sessions. The company says adjustable current lets owners match the charging level to their vehicle and electrical setup, while scheduling can shift charging to off-peak electricity rates where available.
Certification and Enclosure
The 40A model carries ETL certification and an IP66-rated enclosure, which EVDANCE describes as suited to indoor and outdoor home charging. It ships with a 25-foot charging cable.

EVDANCE positions the 40A NACS model between Tesla’s 32A Mobile Connector and a 50A hardwired home setup. With a suitable NEMA 14-50 outlet, the company says the charger delivers up to 9.6 kW while keeping a plug-in format.
According to EVDANCE, that format suits drivers who want a charger that stays connected in the garage or driveway, and it allows owners to unplug the unit and move it to another suitable location. The NACS version also includes a push-button charge-port release.
