Beam Global has announced its first distribution agreement in Europe, marking a significant milestone in the company’s international expansion. The agreement is with Geci Group S.A., a leading manufacturer and supplier of transportation infrastructure, which will handle the marketing, sales, servicing, and support of Beam Global products in Spain, Portugal, and the Spanish-speaking Caribbean.

Beam Global’s expansion into Europe comes as the region represents the largest market for the company’s products. Armando Salvador, Vice President and General Manager of Geci Group, also expressed optimism about the partnership, highlighting the importance of Beam Global’s rapid deployment, scalability, and reliability in the EV charging and energy security sectors.
The European market, particularly in Spain and Portugal, is experiencing rapid growth in electric vehicle adoption, with significant investments in EV charging infrastructure. Spain has approximately 200,000 electric vehicles on the road, with a market growth rate of 30% annually. In Portugal, electric vehicles account for about 15% of total vehicle sales, with an annual growth rate of around 35%.
Beam Global, known for its innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions, is poised to capitalize on these trends with the help of strategic partners like Geci Group. This partnership aligns with Beam Global’s broader strategy to integrate outsourced distributors and agents into its sales model, enhancing its reach in key international markets.
