This collaboration aims to enhance the region’s EV infrastructure through the integration and commercialization of IES’s KEYWATT® chargers, engineered specifically for North American standards.
At the core of this alliance, BECTROL will integrate, certify, and commercialize IES Synergy’s innovative KEYWATT® charging products, designed to meet the high demands of the North American market. This partnership combines IES Synergy’s comprehensive engineering expertise in EV charging with BECTROL’s extensive experience in product certification and manufacturing for North America. The companies are confident that their joint efforts will lead to the production of high-quality, locally manufactured fast chargers, significantly improving the availability and reliability of EV charging solutions from coast to coast. BECTROL is set to become Canada’s second fast charging station manufacturer, notably in the 120-200 Kw range.
Production and Quality Enhancements:
The partnership has already kickstarted production, aiming to manufacture over 1,000 chargers annually. This initial capacity is expected to more than double within the next 12-24 months, underscoring a strong commitment to expanding North America’s EV charging infrastructure.
