Bollinger Motors, a commercial electric vehicle manufacturer, has teamed up with National Auto Fleet Group (NAFG) to offer its all-electric Class 4 Bollinger B4 trucks to government agencies. This partnership leverages NAFG’s Sourcewell-awarded contract #032824-NAF to streamline government fleet electrification efforts.

The Bollinger B4 Chassis Cab is an all-electric Class 4 truck designed from the ground up with input from fleet operators and upfitters. With a range of 185 miles and a payload capacity of 7,394 lbs, the B4 is intended to offer high performance, reliability, and flexibility for a range of government and municipal applications. The chassis design also incorporates a 158-kWh battery pack, providing a robust solution that emphasizes safety and performance.
National Auto Fleet Group (NAFG), known for helping municipalities acquire and manage fleet vehicles, is equally optimistic. Ben Rodriguez, HD Manager at NAFG, stated, “The Bollinger B4 is an excellent addition to our vehicle portfolio and will help fill a key product need for multiple government organizations developing electrification strategies.”
Sourcewell is a self-sustaining government entity with over 40 years of service, supporting government, education, and nonprofit agencies with efficient solutions. By partnering with NAFG, Bollinger Motors aims to extend its reach into government contracts and contribute to fleet electrification across the U.S.
Recent Achievements by Bollinger Motors:
- Launched production on Sept. 16.
- Completed FMVSS compliance and obtained the Certificate of Conformity from the EPA along with CARB certification.
- Secured agreements for 145 vehicles with Momentum Group, 70 vehicles with Doering Fleet Management, and 50 vehicles with EnviroCharge.
- Added multiple dealers and service centers, including Anderson Motors, TEC Equipment, Affinity Truck Center, Nacarato Truck Centers, Nuss Truck & Equipment, and LaFontaine Automotive Group.
- Collaborating with Our Next Energy in Novi, Michigan, to supply battery packs.
- Providing a full warranty coverage for the B4 chassis cab.
- Announced Syncron as its warranty administration partner and Amerit Fleet Solutions as its mobile service provider.
