BYD has priced the SEAL 6 DM-i Saloon and Touring for the UK, pairing long EV-only ranges with practical packaging and rapid DC charging. Orders open now; deliveries start December 2025.

BYD has announced UK pricing and specifications for the SEAL 6 DM-i in Saloon and Touring body styles, introducing the brand’s Super Hybrid DM-i powertrain and its first European wagon. Orders open now; first deliveries begin December 2025.

Powertrain and Range

BYD’s DM-i Super Hybrid combines an electric motor with a petrol engine for high-efficiency EV-first operation. Battery options use the LFP Blade Battery at 10.08 kWh (Boost) or 19 kWh (Comfort). System outputs are 135 kW (Boost) and 156 kW (Comfort), both front-wheel drive.

  • Saloon: up to 65 miles combined / 87 miles city (Comfort).
  • Touring: up to 62 miles combined / 81 miles city (Comfort).
