Chargie’s services include site assessments, design engineering, installation, and ongoing monitoring and support for EV infrastructure. Institutions will also receive assistance in applying for rebates, incentives, and grants from federal, state, and local programs. Chargie aims to facilitate the expansion of EV charging infrastructure in educational settings, ultimately benefiting not only campus users but also surrounding communities.
Chargie CEO Zach Jennings highlighted the impact of this infrastructure: “We’ve seen firsthand the impact this infrastructure has on schools. Not only does it provide charging stations to students, faculty, and staff, but it often also provides much-needed access for the surrounding community of drivers. Ensuring these drivers have a reliable place to charge is key to supporting the state’s record-setting EV adoption trends.”
Chargie already serves local educational partners, such as the Moreno Valley Unified School District and California State University – Northridge, with over 90 Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations in operation. Jennings noted the significance of expanding in their home state: “California is our home. It’s where Chargie was founded, and so many of our employees are proud alumni of its school system. We’re honored to have the opportunity to serve the campuses that helped shape us.”
Beyond charging infrastructure, Chargie also offers educational programs, networking events, and internships for students interested in cleantech careers. Agencies can learn more about Chargie’s solutions at chargie.com.
