CUPRA has released a teaser for the next-generation Born, the brand’s first all-electric model. The redesigned hatchback features updated exterior styling, a reworked interior, and expanded technology. A world premiere is scheduled for March 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CET.

Updated Design and Technology
The new Born builds on the original model, which debuted as CUPRA’s first fully electric vehicle. According to the automaker, the refresh brings a more expressive exterior design alongside interior improvements. Additional technology upgrades are expected, though CUPRA has not yet released full specifications.

CUPRA’s Growing Electric Portfolio
Since launching in 2018, CUPRA has expanded rapidly. The brand’s current lineup includes six production models. The Formentor remains the best-selling vehicle in the range. Meanwhile, the Tavascan all-electric SUV coupe extended the brand’s battery-electric offerings.
In 2026, the CUPRA Raval is also expected to join the lineup. That model represents the brand’s take on a compact electric urban vehicle. Together with the refreshed Born, it signals a continued push toward electrification.
Motorsport and Brand Partnerships
Beyond its production vehicles, CUPRA maintains a presence in Formula E through Kiro Race Co. The brand also serves as FC Barcelona’s official automotive and mobility partner. Additionally, CUPRA sponsors the Premier Padel Tour as its premium partner.
