A New Era in Automotive Design

Founded by MIT-trained engineers Kristie and Eric D’Ambrosio-Correll, Dacora is making history as both the first American ultra-luxury brand in generations and the first-ever female-founded and led car company. In collaboration with the renowned Pininfarina Group, the debut model’s design pays homage to the 1930s Streamline Moderne era, featuring long hoods and a distinctive fastback silhouette.

“At Dacora, we believe true luxury is about connection—between driver and machine, tradition and technology, form and function,” stated Kristie D’Ambrosio-Correll, Co-Founder and CEO. “We’re inspired by timeless design and driven by a belief that the future of luxury is deeply personal, deeply connected, and unmistakably human.”

A Vehicle That Evolves with its Owner

A core principle of the Dacora experience is transformative personalization. The vehicle’s interior is fully modular, allowing owners to reconfigure and refresh it over time. This creates an evolving relationship between the driver and the car.

  • Swappable Upholstery: Owners can change their vehicle’s interior with twice-yearly collections, much like a wardrobe, with materials ranging from wool to linen.
  • Modular Seating: The cabin can be arranged in various layouts, from 3 to 7-seat configurations, to suit different lifestyles.
  • Heritage Materials: Owners have the unique option to supply their own personal materials, such as heritage wood, to be integrated into the vehicle’s finishes.

Redefining the Driving Experience

Dacora intentionally moves away from screen-dominated cockpits. Instead, it features a tactile interface with mechanical controls and a non-touchscreen display that seamlessly blends into the cabin’s woodwork when not in use. This design choice prioritizes a serene, distraction-free environment built from high-end natural materials like hardwoods, woven wool, and hand-stitched leathers.

The brand’s approach to ownership is equally unique, focusing on hospitality and a direct brand connection. Every vehicle is sold by concierge appointment only, and in 2026, Dacora will open its 100-acre Hudson Valley Garage. This campus will serve as an exclusive hub for owners, featuring on-site production, a design atelier, and guest accommodations.
