EdgeEnergy Boosts Operations, Relocates HQ

EdgeEnergy, a leader in energy conversion technology for ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, recently announced a major operational expansion and the relocation of its corporate headquarters to downtown Cincinnati. This development follows a successful capital raise, underscoring the company’s commitment to enhancing EV infrastructure.

The CEO of EdgeEnergy, Shaun Shuler, expressed enthusiasm about this new chapter. “We are excited to be moving into the next phase of growth for EdgeEnergy,” said Shuler. He highlighted a critical issue, stating, “The lack of sufficient infrastructure continues to be a roadblock for the deployment of EV charging stations across the country. EdgeEnergy is meeting this challenge head on with a solution that helps our customers install chargers more efficiently than relying on traditional power solutions.”

The company’s expansion is fueled by a $6 million capital raise. The funds, bolstered by sales from their cutting-edge technology, have enabled EdgeEnergy to expand their manufacturing capabilities through partnerships with Anna, Ohio-based Panel Control Inc., and Hamilton, Ohio-based Dirana Hybrid. Additionally, the firm has relocated its corporate office to Union Hall in Over-the-Rhine and opened a new sales and operations office in Covington, Kentucky.

Shuler also praised the Greater Cincinnati area as an ideal location for business growth. “The Greater Cincinnati region is a great place to grow a business,” he remarked. “We are proud to be a Cincinnati business that is creating solutions for real world problems and driving the transition to EVs and green technologies from right here in our hometown.”

About EdgeEnergy: Established in 2020, EdgeEnergy specializes in developing proprietary phase conversion hardware, facilitating the installation of DC fast chargers on single-phase power infrastructure. Their innovative technology is compatible with any charger or network, negates the need for three-phase power upgrades in numerous locations, and allows for quicker, more cost-effective installation of ultra-fast EV charging infrastructure. With these advancements, EdgeEnergy continues to play a vital role in supporting the transition to electric vehicles and sustainable technology.
