A New Benchmark in Installation Speed

The project in Northport, Florida, was contracted on April 7, 2025, and went live on May 30, 2025. This rapid turnaround was achieved through a highly efficient, in-house process. According to CEO Quincy Lee, this speed is a major advantage for retail clients who want to avoid prolonged disruption to their parking lots while quickly adding a valuable service to boost their bottom line. This efficiency also helps businesses leverage federal and state grants by bypassing the need for lengthy utility upgrades.

Technology Driving Efficiency

The core of Electric Era’s success is its patented battery-backed technology. This innovative architecture significantly lessens the demand on the local power grid, which in turn streamlines the complexity and timeline of installations.

Beyond the hardware, the company’s operational strategy is key. A “skunk works” team in Seattle, composed of former SpaceX engineers, applies a ‘first principles engineering process’ to de-risk the supply chain and manage the entire deployment in-house, from system design to final assembly.

Benefits for Retail Partners

Electric Era focuses on providing solutions that allow retailers to own their charging infrastructure and attract new customers. Each station includes large, 32-inch touchscreens that can be customized for promotions, personalized messaging, and integration with point of sale (POS) and CRM systems. This transforms the charging station from a simple utility into a powerful extension of the retailer’s brand and customer loyalty programs.

The installed chargers feature both CCS and NACS cables, serving a wide range of EVs and capable of reaching an 80% state of charge in 20 to 60 minutes on average.

Unmatched Reliability and Support

Reliability is a cornerstone of the company’s offerings. Electric Era guarantees a 98.5% per-port uptime, ensuring stations are consistently available for customers. This high level of performance is backed by 24/7 system maintenance, which includes automatic fault detection and remote, over-the-air updates to resolve most issues before they impact users.

This commitment to reliability has resulted in a 96% positive driver rating on PlugShare and qualifies Electric Era’s chargers for the Tesla Third Party Charging program, further enhancing their value to property managers and retailers.
