Enteligent Inc., a pioneer in solar-powered DC-to-DC chargers for electric vehicles (EVs), has successfully raised $6 million to advance the commercialization of its innovative technologies. This investment will propel the development of photovoltaic (PV) module-level power optimizers and DC-to-DC bi-directional EV chargers. A key achievement includes delivering the world’s first 25kW DC-to-DC charger to a major logistics company for its electrified delivery fleet. The funding round was led by Taronga Ventures, a global leader in technology investment, bringing Enteligent’s total fundraising to $19 million since 2021.

Jonathan Hannam, Managing Partner at Taronga Ventures, praised Enteligent’s technology, stating, “Enteligent’s technology sets a new standard in maximizing solar energy efficiency… Together, we can significantly advance decarbonization efforts for real assets.”
Enteligent’s CEO and co-founder, Sean Burke, emphasized their mission, noting, “Our mission is to drive a paradigm shift in energy consumption habits by leveraging abundant solar power and our innovative technology to facilitate society’s transition to electrification.”
In addition to its 25kW DC-to-DC fleet charging platform, Enteligent is pre-selling its solar-powered TLCEV T1 EVSE, which provides direct, cost-effective daytime charging from on-site solar generation. The DC-coupled charger delivers up to 12.5 kW of fast DC charging—twice as fast as many AC Level 2 chargers—while saving up to 20% in energy by eliminating unnecessary conversion losses.
Enteligent’s NMax PV module optimizers offer rapid shutdown safety and continuous maximum output, improving rooftop solar electricity yield by an average of 10%. These optimizers qualify for the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Manufacturing Tax Credit (45X MPTC) when integrated into branded packages by solar inverter suppliers.
