Farasis Energy’s evolution in solid-state battery design is evident through its multiple generations of products. The first-gen semi-solid-state battery demonstrated an energy density of 280–300Wh/kg, enabling 2C fast charging, a 5,000-cycle lifespan, and successful integration into vehicles by renowned manufacturers, including Dongfeng VOYAH, GAC, and Geely. The second-gen semi-solid-state battery further enhanced performance with an energy density of 330Wh/kg, 3C+ fast charging capabilities, and sustained 90% energy retention at -20°C, gaining recognition from elite clients in high-end passenger cars and low-altitude aerial applications.
Further advancing the technology, the third-gen semi-solid-state battery achieved 400Wh/kg energy density while reducing electrolyte usage and maintaining superior safety standards. With automotive-grade certification and industrial development underway, this generation represents a critical step toward widespread adoption.
Looking ahead, the company’s all-solid-state battery targets a remarkable 500Wh/kg energy density and operates at low pressures, with a focus on improved fast charging and cycle life. Currently under development, this innovation aims to set new industry benchmarks.
