The all-electric Farizon SV large van has been shortlisted for the prestigious 2026 International Van of the Year (IVOTY) Award. The selection recognizes the vehicle’s contribution to high standards in the light commercial vehicle sector, with the final winner set to be revealed in November.

Expert Jury Selection
An expert panel of jurors representing 26 countries selected the Farizon SV after a thorough evaluation of new light commercial vehicles (LCVs) introduced to global markets this year. The vehicle was assessed on its contributions to high standards of efficiency and safety, among other critical factors.
Jarlath Sweeney, Chairman of the International Van of the Year Award, commented on the evolving market. “We’re in a very interesting period in our sector, with new players coming into the marketplace, with fresh thinking, creating new segments, and offering new solutions, all with emission free technologies,” Sweeney said.
Cook Xue, CEO at Farizon Auto International Company, expressed pride in the nomination. “We set out four years ago to develop and build the world’s best van, and being shortlisted for the IVOTY award is testament to the hundreds of engineers and manufacturing colleagues that produce the Farizon SV,” Xue stated. The company has successfully launched the vehicle across Europe, the Gulf region, and Asia Pacific throughout 2025.
The Farizon SV
The Farizon SV is equipped with a range of advanced innovations, including drive-by-wire technology, a distinctive hidden B-pillar design, and cell-to-pack battery packaging. These features contribute to its market-leading cargo capacity, which includes a payload of up to 1,465 kg and a load space of up to 13 m³. Its ultra-low loading height of just 550 mm further enhances its versatility in the global van sector.
A single, highly-specified trim level offers numerous premium features as standard, such as a payload monitoring system, heated seats, a heated multifunction steering wheel, a heated windscreen, and a 360-degree surround view. The vehicle also includes a comprehensive suite of ADAS safety systems and has earned the highest five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
Model options include various battery sizes depending on the market, with peak power rated at 200 kW (272 PS) and maximum torque at 343 Nm. The SV delivers a WLTP range of up to 551 km on the city cycle and can complete a 20 to 80 percent charge in as little as 36 minutes.
