Fisker’s Dealer Event Advances Global Strategy

Fisker Inc., a leader in sustainable electric vehicles, will convene a pivotal Dealer Open House at its Manhattan Beach headquarters on January 30, 2024. This event marks a significant step in advancing Fisker’s innovative Dealer Partnership strategy. Fisker’s CEO, Henrik Fisker, anticipates announcing dealer commitments to this new approach during the open house.

The company, already in dialogue with over 120 dealers across North America and Europe, is shifting from direct sales to a dealer-focused model. This move aims to expand Fisker Ocean deliveries and increase the production volume of future models. Fisker’s first dealership agreement, already signed in Europe, heralds this strategic transition.

Henrik Fisker expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event: “I’m looking forward to meeting with our future dealers in person and announcing that we have signed up our first dealer partners,” he stated. “Over 120 dealers in North American and Europe have expressed interest in our new Dealer Partnership model, and this open house event is a very important step toward growing our business and getting more vehicles to customers in 2024.”

Following the open house, the Fisker leadership team will participate in the National Automobile Dealers Association Show in Las Vegas (February 1-4, 2024), engaging further with potential partners.

The Dealer Partnership model offers a unique blend of no-haggle pricing for customers (where permitted) and expanded market territories for dealers, mitigating local competition concerns. This strategy aligns with Fisker’s asset-light business model, facilitating scalability for its Ocean deliveries and future model productions.

Currently, Fisker is delivering the all-electric Ocean SUV, competitively priced at $38,990, across the US, Canada, and Europe. Boasting the longest range in its class (up to 360 miles as estimated by the EPA), the Ocean SUV also stands out for its minimal carbon footprint. It incorporates over 110 lbs. of recycled and bio-based materials, is assembled at a carbon-neutral facility, and features integrated rooftop solar panels, potentially adding up to 1,500 miles/year of range.
