The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship brings Round 3 to the Miami International Autodrome on January 31, 2026. This marks the series’ third race in Florida and its first at this venue.
Nick Cassidy currently leads the Drivers’ World Championship standings with 40 points following his victory for Citroën Racing in Mexico City. The New Zealand driver secured podium finishes in both opening rounds.

Circuit and Race History
The Miami International Autodrome measures 2.32 km and features 14 turns, subject to FIA homologation. The venue previously hosted Formula E’s EVO Sessions in 2025.
Formula E first raced in Florida at the 2015 Biscayne Bay Street Circuit event. Nico Prost won for e.dams Renault. Jean-Eric Vergne secured pole position for Andretti Autosport.
Last year’s race at Homestead-Miami Speedway saw Pascal Wehrlein take victory for Porsche. Teammate Antonio Felix da Costa finished third, while Lucas di Grassi scored Lola Yamaha ABT‘s first podium in second place.
Season 12 Results to Date
São Paulo E-Prix
Jake Dennis (Andretti) won from pole position at the Anhembi Sambadrome. This marked the first pole-to-win conversion in the circuit’s history. Reigning champion Oliver Rowland (Nissan) finished second.
CUPRA KIRO rookie Pepe Martí was involved in a significant incident after miscalculating braking under Full Course Yellow conditions. The driver was uninjured.
Mexico City E-Prix
Cassidy won from 13th on the grid, using strategic Attack Mode deployment to take the lead. Mahindra Racing‘s Edoardo Mortara finished second. The victory gave Citroën its first Formula E win in the team’s second race.

The 40-minute developmental session takes place before Free Practice 1 on January 30. Confirmed entries include:

B Corp Certification Achievement
Formula E announced its B Corp certification at the World Economic Forum in Davos, becoming the first sport to achieve this status. The certification reflects social and environmental standards at race events, community impact programs, and worker wellbeing strategies.
The announcement coincided with the global launch of the GEN4 race car. Technical specifications include 100% recyclable construction, 20% recycled materials content, and a top speed of 200 mph. The GEN4 debuts in Season 13.
