Harbinger, a leading medium-duty electric vehicle (EV) innovator, has raised $100 million in Series B funding, co-led by Capricorn’s Technology Impact Fund and Leitmotif. The investment will accelerate Harbinger’s production capabilities, expand sales and service operations, and support the development of new technologies, reinforcing its position as a key player in the medium-duty EV market.

- Significant Funding Milestone: Harbinger’s Series B funding, led by Capricorn and Leitmotif, includes investments from Tiger Global, The Coca-Cola System Sustainability Fund, and other prominent backers.
- Order Book and Revenue Growth: The company boasts a 4690-vehicle order book valued at $500 million, with major customers including Bimbo Bakeries USA and THOR Industries.
- Innovative Product Development: Harbinger’s vertically integrated EV stripped chassis offers medium-duty vehicles at price parity with traditional gasoline and diesel models after federal tax incentives.
- Continued Market Momentum: Harbinger has raised $200 million since its 2021 inception, including a successful $73 million Series A round in 2023.
The Series B funding positions Harbinger to ramp up production, expand customer support, and enhance its product portfolio. This includes its newly introduced hybrid RV platform with a 500-mile range and future cab chassis solutions. Additionally, funds will support investments in long-term supplier tooling, marketing, and distribution.
