The Honda Super-N compact electric car will open for orders on June 22, 2026, with a starting price of £18,995 (about $25,100). Honda has tuned the model on British roads and built it on the lightweight platform of the N Series “Kei” cars it sells in Japan. The company says the Super-N draws its design from the 1980s City Turbo II and offers an affordable route to electric mobility.

How Much Does the Honda Super-N Cost?
The Super-N starts at £18,995 (about $25,100) when order books open June 22, 2026. The figure confirms the sub-£20,000 positioning Honda set out when it outlined the model’s UK arrival earlier this year. Standard equipment includes a Bose stereo, ambient lighting, and the Honda SENSING suite of driver-assistance aids.
Michael Doyle, Head of Automobile, Honda UK, said: “Priced at just £18,995, the Super-N delivers Honda’s ‘Joy of Driving’ philosophy to more customers than ever before. Not only is this one of the most affordable small EVs available, it’s also one of the most fun. It’s been designed to embody the Japanese philosophies of Yukai and Tsukai, which translate as delight and exhilaration respectively, and as a result it delivers a sense of excitement the moment you see it. Ultimately, it’s a car that’s been developed by a group of passionate engineers that believe in Honda’s abilities to turn dreams into reality.”
BOOST Mode and Performance
At the center of the Super-N is BOOST Mode, which raises the output of its compact e-Axle from 47 kW to 70 kW. The setting cuts the 0-62 mph time to 10.0 seconds, against 14.51 seconds in Normal Mode. A simulated seven-speed transmission and Honda’s Active Sound Control system add shift sensations and a synthesized engine note, while the ambient lighting shifts from blue to purple when the mode is engaged. At 2,419 lbs (1,097 kg), the car’s low weight, Honda says, makes it feel more agile to drive.

Range and Charging
The Super-N uses a 29.6 kWh lithium-ion battery and carries a combined WLTP range of 128 miles. In city driving, where Honda expects the car to spend most of its time, the WLTP figure rises to 199 miles. A 50 kW DC charger restores the battery to 80% in 30 minutes.
Interior and Cargo Space
Despite measuring 3,599 mm long and 1,573 mm wide, the Super-N seats four adults, using the packaging of Honda’s kei cars sold in Japan. The brand’s Magic Seats fold in multiple configurations, giving 162 liters of cargo with the rear seats up and 967 liters in the dive-down setup, which the company says is among the largest in the A-segment. A standard eight-speaker Bose system with a 20 cm subwoofer, wired and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and exterior colors including Boost Violet Pearl round out the specification.
