Hyundai Motor Company and Hyundai Motor Group’s Robotics LAB have reaffirmed their design excellence, winning 17 prestigious GOOD DESIGN® Awards across multiple categories in 2024. These accolades highlight Hyundai’s innovative approach to design, showcasing achievements in graphic design, transportation, robotics, and sustainability. The Robotics LAB’s Safety Inspection Robot notably achieved a clean sweep of the world’s four major design awards, including Red Dot, iF, IDEA, and GOOD DESIGN®.
Key Highlights
- Hyundai Motor secured 12 awards:
- Six for Graphic Design, including projects like the Hyundai Heritage ‘PONY’ Exhibition Branding and the All-New SANTA FE Launching Book.
- Three in Transportation for future mobility concepts and accessories like the PONY Car Diffuser and Global Home Charger.
- Wins in Recycling, Lighting, and Packaging categories for innovative projects such as the Re:Style Keyring Collection and Multi-Lantern.
- Robotics LAB claimed five awards, dominating the Robotics category with designs such as:
- Safety Inspection Robot
- MobED Delivery and DAL-e Service Robot
- X-ble Shoulder
- Many winning entries also earned global recognition at other esteemed events like the iF Design Awards, Red Dot Awards, and IDEA Design Awards.
- The Safety Inspection Robot distinguished itself by winning all four major design awards globally, solidifying Hyundai’s place in cutting-edge robotics and design innovation.
