Infographic: Mercedes-Benz EQS Can Go the Distance

The Mercedes-Benz EQS can go a long way on a single charge, and we mean a long way. While the accepted or normal range for electric cars is around 200-miles, having an even longer range makes planning long trips easier. It means you potentially don’t need to charge at all, even from London to Glasgow or another 350-mile+ trip.

Top Charger recently took a look at EVs with the longest ranges in the UK and it found that the Mercedes-Benz EQS, which has a WLTP range of 450/453-miles topped the list.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS goes significantly further than the second-longest range car, the Tesla Model S, which manages up to 405-miles.

The infographic below reveals the electric cars with the longest range in 2021.

Top 10:

  • Mercedes EQS – 450-miles
  • Tesla Model S Long Range – 405-miles
  • Ford Mustang Mach-E RWD – 379-miles
  • BMW i4 – 365-miles
  • Tesla Model 3 Long Range – 360-miles
  • Tesla Model X – 348-miles
  • VW ID.3 Tour Pro S – 340-miles
  • Polestar 2 Long Range Single Motor – 335-miles
  • Skoda Enyaq – 331-miles
  • Kia EV6 – 328-miles

As electric cars become more efficient, it won’t be long before we see most electric cars offering over 250-miles of range. A 500-mile range electric car isn’t out of the question, although the number of people who need such a car is very low.
