International Debuts Electric Class 8 Truck

International Motors, LLC has unveiled the International® eRH Series, a new all-electric Class 8 regional haul tractor tailored for heavy-duty regional and drayage fleets. This latest addition to the company’s electric vehicle offerings comes in 4×2 and 6×4 axle configurations and delivers a range of up to 300 miles, depending on setup, battery capacity, and usage.

Built on the diesel-powered RH Series framework, the eRH Series is engineered for productivity. It features a 113″ bumper to back of cab for better visibility and tight-turning wheelbases. Safety is prioritized with the Bendix Fusion system, while the ergonomic cab offers ample space and user-friendly controls.

The eRH Series offers battery options from 300kWh to 500kWh, ensuring high energy density and low curb weight for maximum payload. Its eAxle drivetrain boosts efficiency, and regenerative braking enhances range. Penske will be among the first to showcase its capabilities.

International supports customers with consulting, maintenance contracts, and financing through International Financial. Production starts in the first half of 2026.
