JLR, Andersen EV to Offer Home Charging

Jaguar Land Rover UK will now offer luxury, high-quality home charging points from London-based manufacturer and supplier Andersen EV

Whitley, UK – Owners of electrified Jaguar and Land Rover models will be able to charge their vehicles at home with unrivaled style thanks to a new agreement with fellow British company Andersen EV.

As Jaguar Land Rover’s future electrification plans gather momentum, London-based Andersen EV is the perfect partner for supplying customizable, high-end vehicle charge points. With a focus on the customer experience, Andersen EV is committed to providing the best possible product.

Andersen EV’s A2 home charger, which comes with 7 or 22kW power options, will be available to all customers and is compatible with the full range of electrified Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.

Andersen EV’s A2 charger is designed with aesthetics in mind. The hidden compartment ensures the charging cable and plug are not visible when not in use, and the look can be customized to taste with 96 different color and finish combinations available. Each charging point is made to order in Andersen EV’s UK factory using high-quality materials.

Jaguar Land Rover and Andersen EV have partnered to provide customers with convenient home charging solutions. Showroom visitors can try out the chargers and place an order for installation, which will be carried out by a qualified Andersen EV electrician. This dedicated, tailored service offers a hassle-free way to make the switch to EVs.

Once operational, the A2 will allow owners to keep track of energy use and costs from their Apple or Android smartphone via Andersen EV’s Konnect+ app. The charging point can also be kept secure thanks to a smart remote software locking feature. This makes it easy and convenient for users to keep an eye on their electricity use and budget.

Jaguar will be transformed into an all-electric luxury brand by 2025, with all Land Rover nameplates available in pure electric form by the end of the decade. The shift to full electrification at Jaguar is already underway, with the all-electric Jaguar I-PACE SUV leading the charge, followed by the Jaguar E-PACE and Jaguar F-PACE plug-in electric hybrids.

Land Rover is committed to reducing its environmental impact, with a battery-electric Range Rover set to premiere in 2024. The New Range Rover is already available as a plug-in electric hybrid, producing CO2 emissions as low as 18g/km and providing up to 70 miles of EV range. The recently revealed, dynamic New Range Rover Sport will also offer pure electric propulsion from 2024. Plug-in electric hybrid versions of the Range Rover Velar, Range Rover Evoque, Land Rover Discovery Sport and Land Rover Defender are already available.
