Kia Recall Details
Kia America, Inc. has initiated a recall for certain 2022-2024 EV6 models due to possible damage to the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU), which could lead to the battery no longer charging and ultimately a loss of drive power. Affected vehicle owners are being notified, with letters expected to be mailed by December 13, 2024.
Kia dealerships will inspect the ICCU, replace it if necessary, and update the ICCU software. All repairs will be completed free of charge. This recall expands and replaces a previous recall (24V-200), and vehicles that were previously repaired under the original recall will also need the new remedy completed.
