Kia UK is launching a nationwide series of “First Drive Weekend” events to provide customers with their initial opportunity to test drive the all-new Kia EV2. Running from April 16 to June 27, 2026, the tour will visit nearly the entire 190-strong Kia UK dealer network. These exclusive sessions offer a structured, high-quality experience designed to showcase Kia’s latest advancement in electric mobility.

The First Drive Experience
Each event runs from Thursday through Saturday at participating dealerships. To ensure a personal and informative experience, Kia provides four generously equipped EV2 42.2kWh cars at every location, allowing for four simultaneous test drives.
The appointment begins with a one-to-one introduction from an EV2 product expert. This session includes a detailed vehicle walkaround and technical insights before the half-hour test drive. The driving route is specifically planned to demonstrate the vehicle’s performance and refinement across various road types.
Kia EV2 Technical Specifications and Features
The EV2 is Kia’s most compact electric vehicle to date, designed and manufactured in Europe specifically for European drivers. Despite being just over four meters long, the dedicated EV platform provides significant interior versatility and a 362-liter boot capacity.

While UK pricing and full specifications will be revealed soon, first customer deliveries are expected later in 2026.
