High-Performance Grand Tourers
Kia has amplified the performance credentials of its GT models. The all-wheel drive, dual-motor EV6 GT now boasts a powertrain capable of producing 641 hp and 770 Nm of torque, an increase of 64 hp over its predecessor. This power allows it to reach a top speed of 161 mph.
The EV9 GT, Kia’s most powerful three-row SUV, is equipped with a dual-motor powertrain that generates 502 hp and 740 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-to-62 mph in just 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 136 mph.
Enhanced Driving Experience
A key innovation across both models is the introduction of Virtual Gear Shift (VGS) technology, a first for Kia. This system simulates a six-speed paddle-operated transmission, complete with a rev counter, to provide audible, tactile, and visual cues that make the driving experience more immersive.
Both vehicles also feature an enhanced ‘GT Mode’, activated by a neon green button on the steering wheel, which sharpens steering response and unleashes the maximum power and torque available. The EV9 GT further improves ride quality with Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS) and a Road Preview System that proactively adjusts to changing road surfaces.

Battery, Range, and Charging
The new EV6 GT is powered by an 84kWh battery pack, which is 8.5% larger than the previous version and provides a WLTP combined range of up to 279 miles. The EV9 GT uses a 99.8 kWh battery, delivering a range of up to 280 miles.
Thanks to their shared 800-volt ultra-rapid charging architecture, charging stops are kept to a minimum. The EV6 GT can charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes, while the EV9 GT takes approximately 24 minutes for the same charge when using a 350kW DC fast charger.
Design and Technology
Both models receive refreshed exterior designs with new light signatures and dynamic styling. Interiors have also been overhauled, replacing glossy black surfaces with a brushed metal-effect finish and featuring prominent neon-green accents to emphasize their GT character.
The vehicles are equipped with Kia’s next-generation infotainment system, the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC), which includes expanded over-the-air software updates, wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, and a 14-speaker Meridian® Premium Sound System.
