Leapmotor Europe Retail Network Tops 1,000 Locations

Leapmotor’s European retail network has passed 1,000 locations this month, reaching 1,020 retailers across 36 countries. Leapmotor credits the expansion to Leapmotor International, its joint venture with Stellantis, which gives the brand access to Stellantis’ European retail and service network. The company reports that European customers are now, on average, a 22-minute drive from their nearest Leapmotor retailer.

Network Spans 36 Countries

Leapmotor locations now reach from Iceland in the west to Bulgaria in the east, as well as Malta. The most recent openings took place in Norway and the Balkans. The company says additional locations are planned before the end of 2026.

According to Leapmotor, the 1,020-location network now reaches 80% of the region.

Stellantis Joint Venture Drives the Buildout

Leapmotor attributes the pace of its expansion to the Leapmotor International joint venture with Stellantis. The arrangement pairs Leapmotor’s electric vehicle technology with Stellantis’ retail operations and after-sales infrastructure.

The company says the partnership has allowed it to scale its European dealer and repairer network quickly by tapping an established retail and service footprint rather than building one from scratch.

August Deliveries Set a Record

Leapmotor credits the retail strategy with contributing to its continued sales growth. The company reports a record 103,129 global sales in August, the second consecutive month it exceeded 100,000 deliveries.

Europe accounted for 27% of those August sales, the largest share of Leapmotor’s global deliveries the region has recorded.
